WebVideoCap Editor's Review

WebVideoCap is a great application for saving all the videos you view in your Internet browser. I tested the program using Mozilla, Internet Explorer, and Opera. All these browsers are supported, so if you watch a video using any of them, the program automatically downloads the video on to your hard drive.

WebVideoCap can capture the video files of many video-sharing sites, including YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo! Video, and more. The files it creates use the FLV format, so you need an application to play them offline. I used FLV Player which you can download by clicking here.

Working with the program is very simple. Once you start it, the only things that you need to configure are a prefix (optional) for each created filename and the folder where you want the videos to be saved. After you do this, you can press the 'Start Capture' button to begin monitoring your browsers for video files.

Pluses: Because it has a simple user interface, the program is very easy to use.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: WebVideoCap can ensure that you never have to download a video file twice. All the videos that you view inside your browser can be stored at your convenience.
